My life has been full of blessings, many of which came when I was stuck in a rut and God helped me to get out and move back into an abundant life.

• Graduation from high school as a junior and into a college dorm.
  • Scary but moved from 3rd grade teacher description as abnormally shy to Living Alive assertive in college endeavors.
• Entered the Army when Southern Belle/Southern Baptist girls just didn't do that.
  • Got the GI Bill for graduate school and moved from just local to Living Alive global possibilities.
• Became the Recruiting Officer for a Mississippi National Guard Armored Brigade — a woman in charge of recruiting for an all-male organization.
• Moved from retirement as a college educator into my own practice — first time to work for myself.
• One of my health-care practitioners observed that I tended to be a pioneer in doing firsts in my life.
