My Living Alive respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, please ask.
About counseling and coaching records
This policy covers this website only. Client records are not kept on this website. Counseling and coaching records are held in a separate, secure system built for that purpose, and are governed by the confidentiality obligations that apply to that care — not by this policy.
Please do not use the contact form, email, or social media to share clinical details, health history, or anything else you consider private. A web form is not a secure or confidential channel. Use it to say hello and arrange a conversation; we will find a secure way to talk about anything sensitive.
Information you give us
When you fill in the contact form, you choose what to send us — typically your name, email address, phone number, and your message. We receive exactly what you type, and we use it to reply to you.
We do not sell this information, rent it, or share it for advertising. Ever.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, this one records basic technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site you arrived from. This is used to keep the site working, secure, and useful — not to identify you personally.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them in two ways:
- Necessary cookies — set by WordPress so the site functions, and if you leave a comment, so you don’t have to retype your details next time.

Contact form submissions and the emails they generate are kept as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the conversation, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ own retention settings. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask.
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), kept up to date, and access to the administrative side is limited to people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise — which is another reason not to send sensitive details through a web form.
Your choices
You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. Write to info@mylivingalive.com and we will respond as promptly as we can. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local law; we will honor those where they apply.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

This site links to other organizations we think may be helpful. Once you follow a link, you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Substantial changes will be noted clearly.
